LeMANS RACE description
Some interesting history of LEMANS RACING: The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the world's oldest active sports car race in endurance racing, held annually since 1923 near the town of Le Mans, France. Commonly known as the Grand Prix of Endurance and Efficiency, race teams have to balance speed against the cars' ability to run for 24 hours without sustaining mechanical damage to the car and manage the cars' consumables, primarily fuel, tires and braking materials. The endurance of the drivers is likewise tested as drivers frequently spend stints of over two hours behind the wheel before stopping in the pits and allowing a relief driver to take over the driving duties. Drivers then grab what food and rest they can before returning to drive another stint. The race has over the years inspired imitating races all over the globe, popularizing the 24-hour format at places like Daytona, Nürburgring, Spa-Franco champs, Sebring, Mount Panorama….and SPEEDWORLD!
In YOUR Le Mans Race drivers will compete just like they do at the 24-hours of Le Mans. Drivers must share best practices, make efficient and safe pit stops and perform driver changes. To give our drivers a taste of Le Mans racing you can choose race length from 45 minutes to 2 hours! Our staff can help you to decide on the best length of your race and the best way to organize your driver teams so it is a race to the finish! The team that covers the MOST LAPS in the period of your race without too many penalties will be declared the Le Mans Champions! Want to ensure close racing during your Le Mans? Add a 10 lap race where drivers race to qualify for teams. GP RACE description
GP (or Grand Prix) events come in a variety of options to choose from in order to fit your budget! These events work best for groups of 7-20 drivers (minimum 7 drivers required). It is a great way to bring extreme competition out of your drivers! Does your business encourage a fun and competitive atmosphere? Than this is the perfect event for you!
All Grand Prix events include a qualifier race and a feature race (some also include warm up heats for drivers!). The qualifier is a head to head race where drivers race against the clock to set the fastest individual lap time. The same way drivers in NASCAR and Formula 1 are required to do in order to set their position in the grid for the feature race! The Feature race starts in the order that the drivers qualified. Qualify with the fastest time and you start on the POLE position and lead the formation lap on track to the green flag. Once drivers pass the green flag it is RACE ON and drivers rush to the finish in this nail biting exciting race! Podium pictures are available after the race!
